I can see no better way to achive this type of performance with a GTX. No more tinkering on bad crank pulleys and sloppy turbo shafts, or trying to find that GSR tranny thats hiding accross the ocean.

Think about it for $10,000ish you can buy a wrecked EVO, probably missing the intercooler because the owner smashed it in to a guardrail, but you cant use that honker anyway. You could probably retrofit the brakes w/ the use of 17's. Custom Shorter axles & Drive shaft. Most likely a lot of welding, brackets, and such. Shift linkage could be interesting.... It would be some work for sure, but this is the recipe that makes for one hell of an indestructible sleeper, that you can drive across country and back, and not worry about your damn distributor
Did I mention that this setup could see 400hp and not bat an eye. Sure you already thought of that as well.
