check shifter bushings, if they happen to be soft or woarn, check with street unit, or TWM shifters and get shifter base bushings, or maybee 3rd gear is going. are just ideas. -

Very weird, never seen such a problem. Like always I would start with the simple stuff first, checking the shift linkage underneath. Maybe at that specific position the shifter is getting loose.Comment
