    bpt surging problem please help

    ok so its a bp26 ecu bp05 engine with a gtx intake mani everythings stock aceel wires and all the sudden it started surging at idle and while driving ,also somtimes takes long to start ,and bogs as soon as u shift into gear flooring it .heres a vid

    i think that could be caused by the iacv not really sure

    you should really check over all your wiring you did in that car with all the issues you have been having

      i.a.c or a vac leak...was the intake on before this happened

        um the only thing i changed was put on greddy then every thing went crazy
        i put the ebay bov back on .since its been running somthings been strange ? never idles right timing is like -5 deg just to run right it has power surges at idle and under power ?

          im gonna put on the bp n/a intake mani tonight do u guiys think that will help ? how does a bpt run with a n/a manifold

            i think you have a bigger problem if you have to run your timing like that

              really sounds like a BIG vac leak if you have to run that retarded ( on the timing )

                ok so my whole charge pipe system is all t bolt clamps my intake is stock gtx i dont think it leaks so all thats left is the intake mani .question could the injectors seals make that big of a leak ?

                  i sprayed the engine with t/b cleaner no change in rpm ,i dont get i ,i dissconnected the iac an it almost never surges anymore but it still runs with half power it youst too.

                      um just the engine harness and ecu ,i tryed the 4 wire tps thing but i dont know if i did it right i never ajusted tps sensor after instllation i need specs on how to auust it or even how to tell if its working correctly . do u think i will be benifical to swap back to the n/a manifold . is there a power differnce ive heard the gtx mani is the worst for the bpt .

                            my hatch hasn't sealed to well after the accident so my batt. terminals get corroded pretty often. sometimes it surges and i have some power loss. clears right up when i clean em off.
