    I got the Drip :-(

Not as bad as it sounds. :-)

I noticed after a good rain or snow there would be a little puddle of Water on the scuff mat (plastic mat underneath the pedals). Fortunately it wasn't much and the carpet didn't get too wet. So I tore apart the wipers and the grill underneath the windshield. I didn't notice anything obvious. So sprayed water in that area, still nothing obvious. It takes a couple minutes to reach the inside of the car, it's a really slow leak.

Has anyone else had or heard of this problem? Would like to seal this up before Monsoon season.
    Thanks.

Have you had the door panels off, and the plastic sheeting pulled back behind the panel? If so, this will occure, especially if your driver window weather strip is shot. It will leak. Best thing to do is to re seal the plastic sheeting. You probably wont find any problem with the windshield.

I guess I should be a little more clear. The drip hits the Clutch pedal before it hits the floor. If I look underneath the dash I can kind of tell where it's coming thru. But like I said earlier can't really see anything on the outside of the car.

best but hardest thing i can say is pull the windsheld out and inspect the area all the way around it.

            I got the drip.
            Was she worth it?
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

                Ahhhh no.

                Anywho...
About taking the windshield out ( which I hope I don't have to do).
I'm going to do another test, but I'm pretty sure when I spray water in the area underneath the wiper grill below the windsheild, thats when it leaks. I will make sure this is the case.

could be coming in where the blower takes in outside air?

Wherever this leak is originating from, I'm sure it's on the driver side. There is an inlet on the driver side I think it's for the fresh air system. I thought this could be the culprit since there is no sealant around the inlet and the body, but I ruled that out as it is up high enough from the water being drained, unless your car is in a flood.

So I ran the hose for an hour last night. First I ran water in the area underneath the windshield....No Drips.
Then I placed the hose on the roof and had the water run down the center of the windshield...the drip started.
There is a piece of sheet metal that's a foot long or so that runs along the bottom of the windshield, it's held in with a few screws. I think the problem lies underneath this piece. I will have to break out some big guns though, because those screws are frozen.

                        ever find the problem?

Ive got the same issue i think. the best source ive found so far is the little water diverter tray in the windshield wiper armature area under the grill right below the windshield. On mine there was a trim screw missing that let the tray fall down in the back that im assuming was letting water run off the back side into who knows where. i cobbled together a fix for it but haven't gotten the chance to test it.

is this a common BF issue? i always have a few drops on the passenger side floor board under heavy rain. seems to drip down behind the blower motor..

Underneath the Wiper Grill there are 2 fresh air plastic inlets that go into the cabin. They are installed on the cabin side, and have a foam gasket and 2 screws holding them in. The water was leaking through this seal and working it's way down. Bad news is, to fix this properly you Have to remove the dash. I had to remove my dash to replace the heater core, so that's what I did. The easiest way would be to take some right stuff RTV aka (easy cheese) and spray it up underneath there around that fresh air inlet, hopefully this solves your problem. Good Luck.
