    Carpet Badding

Well, as part of my project, i'm putting 2 layers of synthetic carpet badding down underneath my oem carpet.. got the adhesive and everything to let it set into the floor pan. however, my only issue is i don't know how exactly to go about cutting it all out correctly to accomodate for the contours on the floor. i'm just wondering if anybody out there has done this or has any suggestions for me.

I've never done this myself, but I would assume that it would be wise to make sure you don't cover up any wireing that runs under the OEM carpet with the badding. You never know what might happen later down the road that would require access to these wires.
