Well it's time for another Rev It Up! Minneapolis is May8-9. Maybe we can set up another group fun run on the Friday before and at least drive the testers the night before w/o as many people around.
As for race times, I prefer early am when the cars are still fairly fresh and there just isn't as many people around. THat's butt a## early though so I understand if everyone else wants a different time. (I plan on signing up for Saturday am at around 730 or 8a. But that's just me, I'll wait a little bit to see what everyone else wants)
Anyway we should plan something for the day, maybe get a Protege Club/Club Protege showing again if possible.

I just completed my signup for the Chicago (4/18) Event startin at 8am - Group 4 - 8:00 AM, 8:20 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM.
Figured I would plan it to go up on Saturday and spend the night up there somewhere. I tried to get in last year but the only one left to go to was too far away.
It's $40 to sign up.

I'm definitly singing up soon to do this. I highly recommend it to everyone. Last year was a blast. I'm not sure what to think about driving the 3 for the competition, the 6 was great considering it was an auto.

i got yelled at last year for driving a lap "too hot" and i needed to "cool it down a bit". i was trying to drift the miata around the corners and really giving the msp a thrashing. i cant wait to test drive the rx-8 though. i bet the line for that one will be pretty long.

That's why if possible, we should go the night before. Protege Menace and I (well mostly protege menace) really tore up that track. I got yelled at for checking how well the MSP shocks hold up to the bumpy "slow" part of the course. I think Protege Menace got yelled at just about every time he drove a car! He he anyway it was quite a bit of fun, both the eveinign and the next day. I'm kinda surprised that it's so early. Although the date is still temporary.

May does seem kinda early, doesn't it? I mean, we could still have snow... ;)
I'll probably sign up. I was so sick last year I didn't really enjoy it.

I'll be signing up with the MNFOC crew. We'll be in the 1st group of the day. Lots of practice runs are a good thing. =)
