This is my BP. There are many like it but this one is mine. My BP is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my BP is useless. Without my BP I am useless. I must drive my BP true. I must drive straighter than my enemy, who is trying to beat me. I must beat him before he beats me.

in this little country, the tecnology doesnt seem to arrive at the same speed as the whole world, hopefuly the carb will change soon

A BP or BP-T it would cost me 2000 dolars easily, over here cars prices are realy high, i paid for my 323 U$S4500 in the condition that you are looking and it was considered cheap, go figure

i have been working on the car lately, i have the clutch disk changed, it was sliping when pushed hard now is all joy.

But i still have the problem that the car want to die when starting in first gear and also when i floor it at any speed it have a moment and then it start to acelerate, I have changed the sparkplugs, repaired the wire from the coil, changed one of the vacum hoses to the carb which was cracked, but the problem is still there, looking carefuly i found that the throttle vavle rod has some free movement (like 2mm), perhaps air is coming trough there and messing with my air/fuel

On other things i have a new fuel pump, but from a Kia, i went to the official Mazda dealer over here to buy a new pump, and guy gives me one that wasnt the right one, so i remove my fuel pump (in the dealer driveway) and ask for one exactly like the one i have removed... and the guy apears an say "its the same, but is from a Kia" the guy didnt have any clue that some mazdas and kias share the engine (something i learn here) so i bought it and is working like a charm, no more spiled fuel on the engine compartiment

I send the car for a full aligment, the rear was ok, the front required a little aligment and they could only balance 3 out of 4 wheels, because one of them in some part of his life had a cut in the sidewall and was repaired, but the weight of the repair is soo big that the wheel coudnt be balanced, soo... new tires and wheels, Kumho KU31 185/55-14 with some 14 inch steel rims, so far on the back only, next month in the front

im waiting to some nice sunny days to take some proper pictures of the car

on carbs there will be some form of off-idle enrichment usually in the form of a diaphram moved by a lever attached to the throttle linkage like a small pump with the air cleaner off and looking down into the carb you should see a squirt of fuel everytime you move the linkage ... if not it is plugged or the diaphram is broken
