Where can you find replacement struts for the GTX? Or is there another strut from a different car that will work? I've heard of first gen 626/mx-6/probe rears working, anyone confirm this?

I ended up using the first gen struts, I had to file the **** out of them and use washers as spacers. All said and done they worked but the strut body was too close to the wheel, I had to use 3/16" wheel spacers. The bolt spacing was off by about a half inch.
also had to file out the tophats to get the strut tube to fit into it.
I think there are probably better options out there but I got these cheap

Are you using stock GTX rims or something else?

I'm reading conflicting information on the web about rear struts.
According to rockauto, the 71889s should fit the back.
This link would also seem to indicate that.
But if you go to Monroe's online catalog and search out the 1988 323 w/all wheel drive, it only comes up with fronts.
