Swapping an EGT BP into a Sephia. Differences?

I'm looking at a 97 sephia with a hurt engine. I have a low mile BP out of a 94 EGT hanging out in my garage at the moment. I know people have gone the other way around with these. Just wondering what changes would have to be made to install the earlier motor in the kia.

    Thanks

probably just stupid differences like the intake mainly electrical plugs and exhaust might be a lil different but i would imagine the block and everything else is the same

just use whatever is on the kia block to make it run, all electrical that is needed and all should be good to go.

i'm with these guys, the long block should be identical but you'll need to use the kia electronic bits.

so the only difference is the missing oil tap on the exhaust side of the block?

just look at how to swap a kia bp into a protege/egt. then do everything backwards. whatever is needed from a protege to make the kia bp swap into a protege will have to be swapped out for the kia stuff.

Your going to need to use the Kia intake, fuel rail, sensors and wiring. You'll also need to utilize the kia exhaust manifold and down pipe for your exhaust side. All other things are the same. There may be a slight difference in a couple motor mounts as far as bolt holes on the body brackets but that is nothing that your going to have to worry about, If they are different looking then just utilize the factory Sephia mounts.
