    Egt problems!!!!!

    OK, heres the situation, I got my car running again. But now my shifter is shifting real tightly. Could this be an effect of it sitting for about a month?
    Could it be that since it has the rear seal leaking? Could it be that since my head gasket was leaking that coolant got into my crankcase? Any help would be nice. Trying to save it from the scrap yard.

    try spraying wd40 on all the joints onthe shift linkages. i replaced shifter bushings on a 323 at work for a customer and the u joint part on the shaft was pretty much siezed. lube it up and work it into moving again and you will be good to go.
