I'm starting to save for another BG, i'm sick of this 626.

I'd have to be an LX tho, and i'm in ontario canada, so nothing to far, but obviously i'd drive out there to pick it up.

just keep running into issues with it, reaplced the egr, got a huge vac leak, tried fixing the vac leak, made a bigger, one...just annoying. Plus i think the only way i'd be happy with the car is if it was 5-speed, auto isn't cutting it

yep still have the mxt parts car! it even comes with a low k KL engine.

a KLZE is like $800-1000 depending on mileage and condition.

hell my parts car was faster than any BG i've driven and it was stock V6! got scary in 2nd gear punching it around 5k haha.

93 protege lx

I have a 93 protege lx that I am planning on putting in the classifieds here as soon as I can. It is a factory mint green color, grey interior (excellent condition), auto,223,800 miles, the nicer steel factory wheels ( good condition ).This car was from San Diego then it was in Virginia beach, and then in Pittsburgh Pa. for 1 year before I bought it in 02 or 03. So the body is very clean for the age. It has just started to rust underneath about 1 or 2 years ago, nothing serious. The only rust to speak of on the body is on the very bottom of the drivers door. The rest of the car is very clean except for a few dents that I unfortunately gave the car. I was mowing my lawn near my driveway and threw a large piece of shale and it hit the car between the rear pass. side window and the back window. ( The dent from that is about 3 to 4 inches). The other dent is on the right rear quarter panel. A guard rail jumped out and got me on my way to work one afternoon. Also the very bottom corner of the drivers door is slightly bent out ( I was backing up in my driveway with the door open and the door caught a rock hard snow drift. The car is in good condition for it's age.The engine runs very strong. The tranny has been giving me fits and I cannot figure it out and that is the main reason for selling.It is not shifting in the right gear at the right time. A tranny shop said it is not a tranny problem, it is electrical. And I would agree from the way it is acting. I changed the VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR ( mazda calls it a pulse generator ) and it still did not fix the problem. It has been shifting odd for about two or three months now and I have been driving it daily to work 40 miles , so it is still driveable.Asking $850.00. I always changed the oil at 3000 to 4000 miles, and I HAVE ALL RECEITS OF ALL MAINTENENCE. I will post pics tomorrow hopefully. Zap
