In doing the BP and G-series swap in my aspire I found I had to make a hybrid axle to make it work. I took a capri XR2 axle and took the outer CV joint off and swapped the ball bearings and races from a protege lx into the bearing housing, and then installed that hybrid outer joint back onto the EGT/protege LX axle.
Its a little stiff, but it went together quite well. I was thinking you guys could use this to put the proper splined end on a 4wd protege passenger axle.
