    Brake Cailper Question

    Anyone know how to get the rear disc calipers off of a 91 Protege LX? I really need new pads and I can't find which bolt I'm supposed to losen to get it apart.

    1991 Mazda 323 GTR Sedan
    MODS:
    GTR motor swap, F&R Familia strut bars, MX-3 Rear Lower strut tie bar, GTX front bumper, GTX grill, EDM headlights & corners, EDM 323 rear garnish, EDM spoiler, EGT sideskirts, MX-3 seats, GTX steering wheel, EGT glass sunroof, WRX hood scoop (functional!!), and other things that take too much space to list.....
    TO DO LIST:
    EDM/JDM rear bumper
    EDM/JDM power folding mirrors
    Repaint car

    go here. manuals for the LX and the GTX/R are there. they're big, but they have all the info you need and are worth it.

        Damn image station resized the pics tho..

        edit...It won't work if I leave the .orgi.jpg in the link so just click the links above then in your browser address bar add .orig.jpg to the end of the link, it should work that way and the pics will display bigger. (did for me)

                    ok im trying to replace the goddam rear pads, i have the calipers off, but i cant get the friggin pads out, HOW!!!!!

                      remove 12mm bolt on the backside of the caliper. It hides an Allen screw adjustment for the pads. Back it off and the pads will come out.

                      Also must remove the spring tabs, but those are pretty obvious
