You would think it's pretty easy, some pedals, the trans, flywheel, axles.
But I'll tell you what, those pedals can really be a pain in the +++.
You wouldn't think so, but man, they've givin us fits in the past to the point we've vowed to not do the conversions anymore. We did a simple neon, 3 guys workin on it and it sucked, maybe you'll have better luck than we did.Last edited by iceracerdude; 07-02-2009, 01:14 PM.

Thanks for the replies. My plan is to rebuild the DOHC B6T engine and put it in sometime in the future, but for now, i wanted to know what I needed off the donor car.
I need to get the car back on the road sooner than I will have funds for the DOHC rebuild.
I read somewhere about the TPS being diffirent on stick cars so will taht require me changing out my auto wiring harness? Would ECU's be the same?
I was planning on putting a 3spd auto in it that I found at the yard (87 323) but I read the electrical connections for the trans are different, so I aborted that idea and went with the stick conversion.
Ok, about the pedals, whats the big hangup point? Is there welding involved or just cramped quarters under there and no room to work in?
half shafts the same?

the swap isnt "hard" to do if u have some skills, just time consuming. u will need the manual axles and jackshaft, shifter linkage, shifter, the ecu, which should plug right in. everything u take out of the capri should bolt right into the 323. the pedals will be a PITA because of where they r and u will need to punch a hole in the firewall cause you have the auto firewall and the hole was nevver made"See that car, in the 80's that car was deadly."
