    B6T questions

Is the motor in the mercury capri xr2 the same b6t as the 323 GTX? I'm asking because i've seen some one say they had some rods from a xr2 and they where not b6t rods. They said they were the same as the bp rod. I only ask because it is easier to find a xr2 in the jy to get rods than a gtx.

It's the same block... some of the xr2's came with the large nose crank... I'm not sure about the rods. I thought all the b6t's had the same rods.

all the B6T's from a BF chassis GT or GTX had the good B6T rods. the rods in the B6t XR2 capri came with the same rods as the EGT/323/Pro. sorry, gotta find a GTX or GT

i think the capri Xr2 was just a scraper car, seems like ford bought up all the leftover B6t's from mazda just like Kia bought up all the leftover BP's for the sophia
