so after a little research, the vj14's are crap at higher boost levels and the chra is a piece, added to that the quantity of vj14's floating around in low and people are asking 200 for them i have thought of a solution and wanted to see people ideas. Its in its "thought" stage so flame suit is going on.
replace the turbo with a t25, off of say an sr20. people are pretty much giving them away, you can find them fairly often for 100-150 bucks are drifting forums, plus they seem to be capable turbos and have a much higher build quality, with longer life at higher boost levels. jgs makes tubular manifolds with your choice of flange, get a t25 flange put on and your good. Plus it allows you to upgrade to a disco potato t25/28 combo if you feel so inclined.
