    new ride ?s

hey guys its been a whiel since i have been on here, i was one of the guys that raced my gt on 3/8 mile dirt.
last night i purchased my first streetable gt. 94 gt 5 spd runs and drives great . black with 15" multi spoke alloys. power windows but no moonroof.
134k on the 1.8. i paid 200$ and drove it three hours home no problems.

now for the issues, heater core is leaking onto the drivers side floorboard. and the wipers, blower motor, and power windows are not working. any thoughts on that? i heard that its all coming from the same wire that comes from the ignition. i tested the fuse panel and im getting no power to the fuses. is just that part of the ignition bad?

Sounds like the accessory function isnt working in the ignition switch. You might want to look into changing that one out. Do the dummy lights come one when you turn the key forward? Also does the radio work?

i lifted it up, drilled it and put some screws to hold it up and siliconed it around the part where the rubber that is supposed to hold it up. Kinda hard to explain just dont feel like taking it off for pictures.

Definitely worth the $200, are you actually going to drive this one on the street? How bad is the rust on the car? If you ever want to sell it I will give you $500 for it. I have always wanted a black one!

zero rust. i have not pulled out the interior to check the strut towers but from racing i know rust is bad normally on fenders and under the doors. and the rear strut towers. i have not found any surface rust at all. this one will be my driver till january then it will probably become a circle track car or one i sell or trade. back home at the shop we still have an lxe( 4 door gt) and a really nice green one with the green accented wheels. im not sure if it is considered the caymen or not. but it will probably be a race car too because we do not have the title.

im not a big fan of these 15's ill probably be looking for some of the earlier 15 inch wheels or i got 14 inch black powder coated2 inch offset wheels that look pretty mean.

IIRC the wheels on the TX3 are 14", same as the LTS.
