Ok, I fixed my FI problem and now I have another one. I installed an '87 auto trans into my '89 auto trans car because i couldn't find one out of an '88 or '89.
Trans works great except i have no overdrive. The wiring plug-in were a little different and I have one wire coming off the trans that I don't have a connection on the chassis side for. Its black w/yellow strip, heavy gauge with a black single spade connection that sparks if I put power to it. Ground??
Anybody got any wiring diagrams or can tell me what i can do with this wire > I think it has something to do with the OD not working. Also , my "hold" function on th etrans shift lever doesn't functon. The dash Hold light comes on but the tranny doesn't do anything.
I think this black wire has something to do with the electronic locku p torque convertor?
