    GTX starter bracket different?

Has anybody encountered this problem? The bracket that should go on the starter for the GTX (or GTR) motor is different. My motor didn't come with the bracket. The thing that's different is the intake manifold. It doesn't bolt onto it the same way. Has anybody encountered this problem and have they figured a solution? Thanks

You don't need to use the bracket, it just bolts to the intake manifold and isn't necessary.. I have a set of DOHC LX starter, alternator, and fuse box all assembled with the harness if you want.

Thanks man. I have all that stuff. But maybe you have one of these?

The bolt that goes into the block with the hard oil line to the turbo. Snap.

I can get it as B660. Is that from the 88-89 GTX?

Man I could use that part sheet. Hehe.

Yah, the bracket is different as Turboge told you. I was able to use it, look built to hold up the back side of the starter, prolly extra weight but heh, it came on the car so.
