poly bushings for a awd pro? + 2wd vs awd susp?'s

well im looking to swap out all my worn out suspention bushings, for poly ones, does the 2wd poly stuff work or are there diffrences, if so which ones?

also i wish there was a thread/sticky comparing/telling the diffrences between the 2wd and awd suspention parts.

there are differences. no one has done a guide because the awd is so rare.

I'd like to help but all I have here is awd pros and I don't know shyte about the 2wd ones. Never even looked under the hood of a fwd pro...that said, I bet three cookies and a stick of gum that at least on the BG's that everything in the front suspension interchanges. You're prolly safe buying a set of front poly bushings for a fwd pro and using em on the front of your car.
What I'd do next is pull my worn out rear bushings and compare em with a set of poly rear bushings for a '92 Miata. I'd bet two cookies and half a stick of gum that they'll be a direct fit.
If they don't, go to autozone or wherever and find whatever you can that are too big in diameter, and have bolt holes that are too small. That's what drills and dremels are for....

The last time I checked, the lateral links in the rear are the same between the 2wd and the 4wd. Not positive on the trailing arms but I think they are the same as well. As far as front bushings I'm not sure.

              well did this finally........
after having to change both rear wheel bearing and rebuilding a rear axle, i figured since it was 1/2 way apart i would just do the bushing on the lateral links and trailing arms,,,
so here is what i did.

i used 2wd trailing arms poly bushings from ES, fit just fine in the AWD trailing arms.

for the lateral links i this this + more.

              {{{ 5 sets of the 9-9108 }}}
now the difference between the 2wd and awd, there are only 3 things
different between the 2 that i could tell.......

              1. there is a little tail(rear subframe side) on the 2wd links (the ones with the adjustability) and on the awd this tail is on the link with the swaybar mount.
              2. on the link with the adjustability the bushing size off the awd is slightly larger
              3. the spacing is a little different 2wd vs awd on the oddball bushing(refer to link and pics of brass spacers)

so if you follow the link on post 176 you will have to mod the bushings just like the 2wd, but on the awd adjustable links the bushing are to loose, you need to make a sleeve.,, but the sleeves needs to be super thin, so i just cut a peice of sheet metal i forget the gauge off hand, but its super thin and flexable and made my own sleeve by just cutting iirc a 1 or 3/4 inch wide by ?iirc 4 inch long and shaping it around the bushing, essensaly making my own sleeve, worked perfectly.

also like i stated earlyer the spacing on the 2wd vs awd is different, so your best bet is to just leave the old bushing together and measure them before removing the bushing from the arms/lateral links, to make your brass spacers the correct lenght.

i do have sheet i wrote up with all the measurements, but to explain them in words on a computer would be hell, and my notes are not the best, but i understand them.
i can try to make a copy and email it to who ever needs it thou, or maybe someone could post it up if i can get a nice pic of my note.

i hope you all understand what im trying to say,it kind of hard to explain in words,,, but when you have everything infront of you it will make more sense.
also i did not have a set of 2wd links and trailing arms infront of me to compare to the awd ones, im only going off the pics of the 2wd ones and obviously the awd ones i had.
