I never thought about mac.
Ive been playing around with linuxice2 as well as Xp pro .

PS I'm an apple fanboy... So feel free to make your own assessment. I know a guy that built a computer and just ran winamp (so yes it's been awhile) as the shell.

That stuff is nice,out of my budget though i think.
