      hp = 124, tq = 114 ft/lbs., compression ratio = 9.0:1.

      There aren't many people rockin' the NA route for power here, you may find more useful NA buildup info at miata.net, since they are the same engine ('94 + miata).

            have you tried solomiata.com?

            good source of info for an NA project.

                Toda racing makes cams for the BP, as do a few other reputable aftermarket manufacturers. Corksport has cams, A cheap alternative might be the 99+ Miata cams.
                Search for Miata and Escort GT cams, you'll get more results as I don't believe there are any that are actually "protege cams"

                  the toda cams are very good cams (good lift and duration) but have a GOOD PRICE too.
