Ok so the car seems to run the way it should, i think. A/f ratios seem good 14's 15's at idle then under boost 10's 11's and 12's. when im crusing letting the revs drop my aem displays ---, which is what its supposed to do. My question is when i retard the timing to like 12* btdc the car bogs and breaks up nd runs like ****. right now if i hit it with the timing light the mark is way beyond the timing marks on the lower timing cover. That means its rather advanced I know that but can i just leave it like this or is this asking for trouble and i should do something to fix this?

when you let off the gas it reads blank or ---. Its supposed to. Mine reads 20 and flashes but i have a glowshift wideband. When you put the timing light on the car it should be 12* toward the firewall. Also you might be experiencing spark blow out. Check the gap or your plugs should be around .028-.032Cincinnati, ohio Bengals for life

ok but i know for a fact my timing is way more advanced then that but i cant get the car to run properly at 12* towards the firewall, what could be causing this problem? i think my plugs are good but how do i check the gapping anyway?

i ran 16* timing for about 6 months, running it HARDDDDDDDDevery day and then long story short its ur car now lmao
