    92 2 fast is back!!!

Ok so to start, let me just say that Mazdas are an addiction. With that in mind let me tell you about my new project. A year ago I moved from Oregon to Germany (and not because I am in the Army.) Ever since than I have been searching for a 323 that we just can't get in the states. I saw a gtr for sale a while back, but it was way out of my price range. Later I saw a gt-i 4wd but it was sold way too fast. After much searching I have found a good solid project. It's a 90 GT. That means factory BP05, g-series, and bigger 4 wheel disk brakes (the same size as the lx in America), electric windows, but no ac. For the rest of the goodies that came with the car you'll have to wait until the morning when I post pics. So let's move onto the project details: here it is almost impossible to modify your car. I can't just turbo it and call it good. Hell I can't even increase the rim size. Everything is in the car's papers and if you get pulled over and something doesn't match, you could get a HUGE fine. So this time I need to be a little more resourceful in my build. The good thing is that I am starting from a good base. So I think I will start with a full new suspension hopefully awd conversion when I can locate one, fully built NA motor, or maybe I'll see if I can somehow built a hidden turbo. maybe rear mounted turbo or something I'm not sure, I will need to be really crafty this time. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to share, just keep in mind that laws here are REALLY strict.
Pictures to come in the morning...

As I understand it the vehicle laws in Germany are such that all vehicles have to be factory stock. Either that or they have to be modified by a professional company like Ruf.

So here she is. She needs some work, but all in all she looks pretty fit. I have a bit of rust I need to repair, a bit of welding, and some parts to order. I think it'll be a good solid base to start building on.
                  Plans:
                  body repair
AWD... when I can find all the parts and afford them...
rebuild the tired motor and get some real power
(usw) and so on and so on...

looks nice man! noticed a fog light switch but no fog lights?

there's lots of things you can do and keep it quiet looking tho!

                      cut intake
                      cams
                      cam gears
factory tubular header (modify the collector to 2.25")
                      2.25" exhaust w/ a factory muffler
                      timing
k&n drop in w/ the bottom of air box gutted
                      plugs & wires

that should give it some good power/tq increase and everything will look 100% factory lol

The fog light switch is for the rear fog lights. It's a requirement here. Hmmm, exhaust, intake, cams... still won't bring me near the bpt power range. I'll get it there but first I need to weld the hole in the floor closed before it get's too big a problem.
