    Will a B3 head fit on a B6?

I want to put a 1.3 head on a 1.6 block. These are 8 valve SOHC fuel injected engines.

all I can find are B3 festiva's in the junkyard

    has it ever been done?

will it simply bolt on and run decent?

why would you do that in the first place? Its like taking 100hp away....
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

there are no 8 valve B6's in the yard. they are crushing alot here.

I remember an Isuzu pickup that could use the smaller size heads (2.3 on a 2.6). I think it was bolt on. Performance improvement.

I would check car-part.com for a head, most of the yards on there will ship it for you as well.

I am being told that this will work. The Ford festiva crowd do this, putting b6 heads on B3's. Maybe that is where all the b6 heads have gone.

You have an 8 valve SOHC? The 87-89 8 valve SOHC heads (or engines) are different than later years 90 - ? . I dont know what the difference is. Seems that the temperture switch is different.

Cookville is far far far far away.... ever go to memphis?

for example, a b20 block with a b16 head all stock will still get you 11:1 compression. crazy for just swapping heads.
