JDM B6T dizzy vs USDM B6T

    Hey
I picked up a JDM B6T engine/tranny for my 88 BF gtx. The motor went in fine and all. now for the fun part, the wiring. Main problem im having is the distributor. COMPELTELY different connectors from the jdm b6t vs the usdm b6t. They share the same colour wires, but its all reversed, like a mirror image, so if i was to splice, i guess i would still just match up same colours with same colours? I really dont want to splice into my harness or the new dizzy. I would prefer to use the jdm dizzy if possible because its in much better condition then the one thats on my old motor.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?
    Suggestions?

    Thanks guys.

id just pop in the old disty and be done with it, unless your using the ecu that went with the motor/disty....

just use the USDM disty, its no different and shouldnt change anything in either ecu

That disty is from a USDM Merc Capri. You can just swap the harnesses from one to the other. The distrbutors are the same otherwise. Are you sure the motor is a JDM...does it have the smaller intake plenum??

Does the motor have a cast aluminum oil pan or is it stamped steel?

IIRC, the cast aluminum oil pan is indicative of the USDM motor. If you try to mate an engine / tranny of different types (usdm vs jdm), you'll end up with a gap, or having to grind some material out of the way to get it to work.

Even sillier, the 89 GTX had the reversed dizzy harness. Just swap it. The internals are the same.
