    tested springs

I'm trying to find out the right combination for a new ****ty budget.
I'll probably only have about $1500 CDN to my disposal in the spring (instead of the $2500 i was expecting) so I'm going to have to do all the work myself and find a cheaper source for rims/tyres.
this is what i wanted to do:
    - new rims/tyres from tiretrends (Icon W65 gunmetal w/ ecsta supra 712)
    - Eibach Springs
    - Tokico Blue struts
    - Tower strut bar
    - Get midas to install it all cuz i'm lazy

    now i'm down to:
    - new rims/tyres from wheelmax or another cheap place
    - Teins or whatever suits me better
    - Tower strut bar
    - Do all the work myself, god knows where or how.

so after all my whining/ranting... i'm asking: how low can i go?
i use my car for big winter driving, for at least 2 more years (parking is pricey at my new place) and i drive in Montreal lots (potholes are 5' wide and 3" deep, no joke)... so i don't think i can go for the full low of Eibachs.

From what I know, there are Racing Beats, Teins and Eibachs... which one would do the job best?

Try the MSP springs. They'll lower your ride just under an inch so you will still be good in the winter. Plus there are members selling them so they'll only cost you like $150 CDN.

yeah.. i've seen your posts.. but i'm looking for tested springs from other members.. so i can see real life pics of the lowering and to know what combination they used to get the effect.

I'm soooo buggin' right now. I got Teins and a B&M short throw shifter sitting in my living room. My garage is like 19 degrees now. Stupid winter.
