    Digital Dash

    hey all,

Over here in NZ ive only ever seen one digital dash for the BF im just wondering if they are any more common over there in the USA and if its worth importing one. oh and another question, does anyone know if they work off the standard cable drive or if they are a different set up like modern cars and have a vehicle speed sensor.

    thanks,

Yes they are plug and play. They are also fairly easy to get...there is one on ebay right now.

They're around 2 grand new from Mazda. Beware there's a turbo and non-turbo version, ~$200 price difference from Mazda. Also, the boost indicator tends to break on the digi dashes and they're difficult to read in full sunlight, which I imagine you kiwis get a lot of (jealous)

ahh yea, well at that price i think il stick with the custom dash i made myself, and don't be so jealous we don't get a lot of sunlight here and over the last couple of years all 4 seasons kinda molded into one, cold and mostly wet. lol

You can get them for WAY cheaper than $300, the digital ones usually go for less than $100 on the Yahoo!Group. Join it, post an ad, someone will ship it to you. Or, have them ship it to me then I will ship it to you. I assume Casper Strandbech is on here from Europe, he will vouch for me lol.

Agreed. If my new shell has a digi dash... I will gladly sell it to you. I think it's analog though.

i had to take mine out while tuning the new engine, its just not accurate enough on the RPM scale to tune. It does look sick though
