ftjandra's worklog version 2.0 (including e153 trans swap)

    Changes to be done:
    -Install E153 trans
-Clean up wiring in engine bay
    -Remove A/C and P/S
    -Install MX-3 GS steering rack
    -???

I don't have any pics of the adapter plate right now, but you can see what it looks like from the cardboard prototype. This is not Tim's/Jon's - I made my own.

So far I've only made the passenger and driver side mounts. Won't get much more done during the holidays, but atleast I've got the engine mounted the way I want (7/16" closer to the passenger side and 1" forward).

Next, I have to make a new crossmember (or modify the stock one) and then the front/rear mounts. I also still need to notch the frame rail. Then comes the shifter and a bunch of other stuff.

Nice. Now you can make more for other people and offer them at a decent price.

if he does offer this up to the community remember that he moved the engine over and forward.

                  Thanks for the compliments!

Yeah, my mounts will only work with my adapter plate of which I am not making any to sell since I don't want to take any business away from Tim/Jon. Plus, my plate doesn't work for the 4wd.

                            wow this looks great!

What type of bushings are you running in the mounts? Does you drivers side mount attach entirely with existing bolt holes?

I'll be using urethane bushings. The pics actually show aluminum inserts as I didn't want the flex of the bushings to affect the other mounts as I am building them one by one.

Yup, the driver side mount bolts in just like stock.
