      What management system?

I've been waiting for this. Your motor has been slowly dieing from all the abuse you put to it, just surprised it lasted this long.

how exactly did you "lean" out your A/F mixture? Tuning by just the VAF isn't a smart idea. You need to get at least a S-AFC of this will continue to happen. Plus you mine as well toss some rods in there and not just pistons or you will be in the same boat next time but destroying everything and you new shinny pistons.

Well detonation sucks. Too much timing, too little fuel, too hot plugs ... too much heat in general, low octane fuel ... etc.

                a couple of fails......
move your charge pipe below the exhaust manifold- you have it wrapped i see but your still heating it more then need be.

high intake temps & high timing=fail.

You definitely detonated. the piston looks similar to mine.
you don't need such rich AFR's. pull some timing out of it & you'll be okay

                & DON'T use a SAFC- that in of itself=fail

JAJAJAJAJJAJAJAJJA (HAHAHAHHA IN INGLISH), sorry for making you wait for 2 years.
Ok well guys, what i will do is go for the ceramic coating on the pistons, i will use another set of TOTO pistons (taiwan brand) that is the same i am using purchased locally, but with the coating, and this time 15 psi, that run was at 12 psi, and reduced the values on the SAFC, so make it 11.7, almost all the way. will reduce timming to 10 degrees. to cover my axx.

well guys this are the "forced" pistons, yes not forged, they are toto pistons with ceramic coating, pm top 50% anti friction and ceramic coating, on the skirts antifriction, $40.00 for all four(without the coating).
Next Set up 10 degrees and 18 psi.
