BF Familia and BFMR

Well i thought i might as well post up my two projects I'm working on atm,

First this was my old car (first 323)
1987 Mazda 323 4 door hatch

While i had that one i bought this one my first 2 door Familia/323 it was in bad shape and thought I'll keep it as my daily hack and put a KL into my 4 door, but i was lucky to sell my 4 door for a bit of cash so ended up with only this so i decided this will be my KL project in the near future. Its currently my daily



worked on it for weeks on end and ended up with this


Also shaved the tailgate

Then got a face lift front bumper and fitted my 626 front lip

Then swapped in a new motor as its still my daily until the end of feb/march, its so good on gas :D love it.

List of things to do,
MX3 seats or maybe BG GTX ones
Lower it with shortened shocks
Get sway bar
KL-ZE swap

Yeah, I'm trying to get back my old twin bulb headlights from the new owner who bought my old car, he said he'll sell them back to me I just need some money haha

i still got a bfmr grill.

had 3 gtae bars too... Oh sooo many parts that i never did anything with

You had gtae bumpers?? OMG 3 of them i want one sooooo bad it would add to my cars look :D here they are so hard to find, there is someone making them now tho, but its $600 for a fake one... i would rather pay $600 for an original one

I'll put up some pics of my BFMR but i have to warn people lol, its very ricey and its in the progress of being de-riced

How i got it (engine) will post up some pics of the exterior l8r on

How it is atm, until i get the interior done

I still need:
some intercooler piping, B6T radiator, battery will go in the rear, Pre-facelift intake plenum.

The wiring harness in this was cut into pieces( just to find why it didn't run) I later on found it was the fuel pump(fail on their part) I repaired the loom and its running now i just need a new fuel line and it will be going good again

If i was you , i would hide the fuel filter and fuel reg too.

and do something with the pod.

apart from that , looks MUCH better.

Also , have you seen the BF climate control before?

i had a few setups of the push button controls (logical control) but never found the climate control setup.

and yeah i have most of the push button controls for BFs i might put them into my BFMR seeing my other BF5P has no ac or heater lol

for the moment is to just get it road legal again or see if i can, if i cant either look for another BFMR and swap over the gear or get a 323 sedan and swap the gear over and run a fwd gearbox

or another option i have been thinking about is to turn this into a track car full race setup, but we'll see what happens
