    guage placement

so im looking to hookup a boost guage and a air/ fuel ratio guage.

    should i either
    A. eliminate the coin purse infront of the shifter
pro- more space to work w/
con- way out of the line of sight
    B. eliminate one if not both of the air vents in the middle of the dash
pro- in the line of sight
con- removing to vents for ac in these hot ass georgia summers

i do not a a A pillar guage pod due to the fact that i do not want everyone to know she's boosted

and im planning on removing/ relocating the "suspension control module" and slipping a turbo timer in there

if you want them to be hidden, i think the vents would be your best bet. Where the coin purse is i think is wayy too low.

Personally, im planning on removing the whole front plate where the cigarrette lighter, ash tray, and the 4wd button sit, and im going to make my own out of lexan and put my guages in there. Still visible, easy to make, and i dont smoke so an ash tray and cigarrette lighter are not needed. There should be enough room for 3 guages side by side i would think. Im just going to relocate the cigarrette lighter to the passenger side footwell so i can still run phone chargers, gps etc.

I'm putting the important gauges in a pod and the rest down low in the center console.

I had made a bunch of those plates to fit dual gauges thinking of selling them but I never completed the mounting holes.

Yeah.. pretty much that... Without the ugly digital stock gauge cluster.

i have my boost guage right up where KM Puggy has his, but your were saying how you dont want anybody to see its boosted. i still plan on putting more guages in the other place i had mentioned earlier.
