    ignition?

so the ole gt doesn't want to turn over here recently, its done it a few times here and there in the past but not like this...

when i put the key in my gauges work and my radio turns on and everything else but its like the key doesn't catch the starter.
so i take the key out and repeat repeat repeat until it turns over.

it cant be the starter cause once it does catch it starts up like the starter in brand spankin' new...

    wiring?
    ignition?
    key?

ive also lost or misplaced the nuts that are from the down pipe to the exhaust flange.
and idea what size bore and thread spacing they are/

Mine is having the same problem - I think it might be the starter relay going.
sigpic Horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, Torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

One of the most common problems, aside from the faulty fuel gauge sender.

      Go here: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/323gtx/database

click on "Part Numbers", go to 2nd page and look for ignition switch.
