    DooWop Rally 2010

It's that time again! First performance rally of the year for the PNW area. Looking for more volunteers. Anyone should come out and hang out for the weekend and watch the carnage that is rally. If you've ever spectated @ an event you know it's cool, if you've ever worked an event you know it's killer! If you've ever competed in an event, you know it's just too much for words.

Lemme know if you wanna come out and volunteer. We need more folks.

I have space on the floor in the hotel. Had a buddy flake out so also if you need a ride from the PDX area lemme know.

"There's a hierarchy of insanity in motor sports. Normal people think all racers are crazy. Folks who race sedans think people in open-wheel cars are nuts. People who race cars of any kind think motorcycle racers are absolutely off theirs meds. But there's one group that everyone agrees is made up of the most extreme, the most daring, and absolutely craziest people in racing - rally racers."

I can't tell you how pissed off I am to miss this. Schedule conflict I can't get out of. We're gonna be at Olympus rally though. If we get the car ready in time. Dammit.

'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Time. House projects have kept me outta the car for the last couple weeks, and it just seems like this build is going slower than it should. We should be able to get it going by April though, it has to get done in time to do shakedown before the rally.. I really hate thrashing to get the car ready the day of the event... ain't doing that no more!
