    Trapped in the Protege!!.........again

ok when i had my old red pro going in the winter of last year i was trapped in the car and the handle was frozen, i couldnt open the door nor close it when it was open and forget about locking anything

anyway today i had the same problem occur with the current pro, anyways i fixxed and red one way back when and now that i need to fix the balck one i no longer retain that knowledge, so im asking for your guys fix.

i was thinking just plain de icer but how long will that last?? i cant keep re applying it day after day.

today i geeced up the latch part on the inside and hopefully that will help the melted ice and snow run away from the hinge point

anyways any pointers / experiance with this problem???

    So the latch is freezing??
Lets assume that you've got some water in there thats freezing **** up.
Get a heat gun (or a hair dryer). Unfreeze the **** with the hair dryer. Spray some WD-40 into the latch. THen grease the **** out of that ****.
