under basic setup, rev limiter, its set to soft 7000 and hard 7300. its there another place for rev limiter. because i just try again and its a rev limiter because the rpm gauge go red when i hit 5000rpm.

driving or just sitting there reving it up? im not totally sure of the ms2 settings .... this is one you built or from lex or something? is everything set up right?
im looking around the net, and found the miata guys had a similar problem here and there, maybe try reburning the firmware.... do you have any other known working msq files to try first tho? some fixed it with a different msq, some needed the firmware

ill check that out, something else i just read---For 10f and earlier: If you experience a rev limiting problem at around 2500rpm, upgrade to 10g or disable air density correction
mine shows 8k, you can change the settings, i havent change the gauge readings tho. it could be a bad msq, maybe make a new one and see what that does. it seems to be a problem on the miatas, just a lower rpm...
