is the BG's B6 the same block as the BF's B6T?

I know it doesnt have the fittings for the turbo stuff, but i have a perfectly good B6 SOHC siting here and a BF friend who needs a bottom end.

in keeping with the B8 and the BP should be similar at least. I would guess the internals are not quite as strong and the compression ratio may be lower.

deck height should be the same, i am pretty sure the rod length and stroke is identical for every b-series engine...?

Is it the 8 valve engine? If so, the pistons will not work; the 8 valve pistons have different valve reliefs cut in to them. The B6T block has the webbing cast in to it for stiffening, I don't think the provisions for the oil squirters are there.

I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.
