I already have a set of nyloil bushings in my shift linkage but I'd probably like to buy a spare set, in addition.

What's the bushing composition, BTW, nyloil or polyurethane?

      Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene

EDIT: it should also be noted i own these, nyoils and bronzeoils. these and nyoils are pretty much a tie for my favorites.

Umm! Very high tech. The rigidity of polyethylene and as slippery as an eel in oil.

Edit: If you say they're as good as the nyloils that's endorsement enough for me.

        Happy Motoring!

Considering my GT doesn't actually have bushings on the shift lever right now, I'd be in for these (with the stabilizer bushings)

These are the shifter linkage bushings. Four are needed. Two are used where the shift lever connects to the change control rod, and two are used where the change control rod attaches to the transmission. They replace the wimpy OEM rubber bushings. They will fit:

                  Mazda 323, MX3, 1990-1995 Escort, and 1990-2003 Protege.

The 2-stabilizer bar bushings are placed on the transmission end of the extension bar (also known as the stabilizer bar) which couples the shift lever mechanism to the transmission housing. They replace the single wimpy OEM rubber bushing in that location, and make for a more rigid coupling between the two components. They're made in two diffeent sizes. One size fits:

                  Mazda 323, MX3, 1990-1995 Escort, and 1990-1998 Protege

The second, larger size, fits 1999-2003 Protege

If you don't already have hard bushings in these locations, change them. You'll be glad you did.

                  Happy Motoring!

I'd be in for another set of shifter bushings for another car I just bought.

Yeah it looks like the mods over at mx6.com might have been smokin a bit too much wacky backy :lol
