NASA track day Sat. 4/10 (Phoenix, AZ)

Last minute notice, sorry guys. I'm running a NASA track event on Sat. in conjunction with the annual Modified Magazine car shoot out competition. So, there will be a ton of crap going on all day long, drifting, autocrossing, time attack racing, road racing, etc... My first HPDE session is something like 4:30pm, last one is about 11:30pm.

Had another great time at the track with the rally car. I always get a lot of looks at the car, since there is just a little something odd about it being at the track, beefier cage, higher stance, ODO mounted off the dash, skid plate mount up front, not to mention all the stickers that just don't look quite road race like.
This was a first for me, night time event, first run was still during day light, but the other three were all after sunset, last one at 10:50. Even with HID highbeams, it was still difficult to see all the turn in points. It was also easy to get sucked into falling the car in front of you, even when they aren't staying on the track lines... LOL The only issue I had with the car was the loss of the air bi-pass screw out of the throttle body. I know, odd failure, but I guess it didn't have the o-ring seal like it was suppose to, which would have kept it from vibrating out. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but when an engine goes that lean, it's not good for it. Hopefully, nothing got hurt. Of course, since my TB is out of a Subi instead of a Mazda, none of my various Mazda screws fit.
This was suppose to be my first time running with a video camera too. I got a GoPro HD camera for my B-day, last week. Unfortunately, I was too busy to read all the instruction. So, instead of shooting video, all I got was a series of my hand turning the camera on and off...
