There's a shot of it in my cardomain page. It sits in the trunk and takes up most of the space, but we kinda like the whole reduce-the-chance-of-a-fireball thing out in the woods.

Madness... Though I can see the novelty in it.

i fit a 12 gallon cell in my EGT autoX car. i still have it if anyone is interested, hi-volume internal pump and sender unit.

anyone else running one? my awd pro sprung a fuel line leak and the tank has a small leak when filled to high, and i genral most of the brake and fuel lines look on ther last legs.
after redoing the 88 gtx i have with a stock tank and all the bull**** i would have been better off just going fuel cell, so im pretty sure im just going to go cell in the pro.

the only thing that bugs me about a cell is the immediate reduction of cargo space. Right now, I can fit all four bolted tires into the trunk, and take them to the lake in the winter. I'd have to get real creative with a cell.

On the good side, you could eliminate the transfer pump deal, and have LOADS of room to run a nifty exhaust through where the tank used to be. Perfect for shooting flames out of your exhaust on downshifts from the wastegate.

I'd love to put a cell where the current tank is, but up higher to eliminate the hump in the middle, but then you've got to deal with all sorts of issues with bulkheads and crap.

I put one in the trunk of my AWD conversion Capri

Honestly, I kinda hate the thing, I lose nearly all of my storage space in the car. It's not foam filled, so the fuel sloshes around and I've had pickup starvation even above 1/4 tank... Not only that but everything fuel related is absurdly expensive. Idk. Its a necessity at this point though

thanks for the info, i will have to do some more research about different types of cells, and yes AN and SS lines are not cheap.

what size did you guys use for your fuel lines??
                        -6an, teflon coated?
i was thinking -6an for the main and -4an for the return?

My tank came with -8AN fittings so I used 8AN lines, believe they're rubber with braided stainless outside

-6 is plenty, though I'd run it for supply and return, -4 might just be to small and could cause issues (pressure spikes). I prefer running aluminum hard lines with braided flex lines at the either end, saves weight and money.

I have a spare bg 4wd tank thats solid, to bad I'm so far away.

yeah i went with -6 for main and return.
also im redoing the rear brake lines, and went with braided from the pro. valve to the underside of the car and the rest will be hard lines, this way its a lot easyer then trying to run a hard line up into the engine bay.
