    Upgrading Battery

    I see that everyone is putting these upgraded audio systems into there cars but have not seen anything about the Battery being change. Should we be changing out our stock battery for a better one?

    hell yeah, when you need to. the stock battery is pretty crappy, and i killed mine in a few months. there isn't any real reason for upgrading it till you need to. when you upgrade, look for a battery in your price range. if you've got over $100, get a red top optima or a red top exide orbital. if you've got less, basically you want higher CCA's and higher reserve capacity than stock, which is most every battery on the market, other than motorcylce batteries

        now the optimas are coming with plastic trays to raise them up from their group 34 size to the 35 size, which is a little taller, and not as long.

          Red top optima is very good
          cant go wrong with this
