? for darryl regards to rx7 camber plates...

as of now i am high bidder on a set of camber plates....
as stated in a previous thread you said these will work correct??? they are for the second generation RX7...
will they match up with our stock springs??? or stock style? like the H&R MX3 ones??
if not then im gonna want to put in a lower bid.

While where on the subject of camber plates/mount - Will these also work on the rear of an BP chassis?

Sorry for the thread jack, trying to kill two birds with one stone. The rx-7 plates look like they fit to me but ive never measured them so...

I'm not 100% sure on the RX7 plates. Dunno if they bolt right in, or they need some moding...i read about it in a brief post.

I guess, you'll have to experiment.

Ask the seller if he/she is willing to measure the center to center of the bolts on the plates and in an "X" pattern. Then measure yours. Also ask for the diameter of the bolts. Won't take them more than a minute to measure em, so hopefully they'd be cool.

Again, would need to measure the mounting bolts, and the height of the mount, compared to our stock ones. You may want to ask over at miata.net to see if they have more insight.

Personnaly, i see no need for rear plates for an autox setup, but maybe for a track car, a serious track car.

Yes, they are listed as 40% stiffer. Although they wouldn't like me buying parts for non members, sorry.

well do you think its worth it to risk buy them and then not having them fit... the current bid on them right now is gonna be~$160 then $10 for shipping
$170 down the drain if they don't work

from corksport they charge $215 without shipping...for the protege ones or so they say. i should call corksport and find out if the RX7 ones fit or not ?if they share the same part nunmber or not...

Did you ask the seller to get you some quick measurements? Also, just call Corksport and check out the part #'s for the Protege and the RX-7 before you go spending cash.
