Well, I finished 10th out of 30+ cars in my class, and 25th out of over 70 cars total (big cars with V8's and V6's). The thing is, I had some problems and broke a few things. I had no brakes at all from 1/3rd the way through the race, on. (Keep in mind, I was running 105 mph, so anything that could go wrong would be multiplied by 100, as there's no way to slow down. ) The cool thing was that I came in fast, whipped the wheel left, and slid my rear to corner, as it slowed me down a little. I also went through 4 brand new tires from sliding the car all the time. ($300 worth.... ) I couldn't run 3rd gear, as it hit the rev limiter, so I had to run 4th. The my clutch started slipping at the half way point, and self destructed (Literally blew up; I head metallic pinging and pounding in the gear box as I was entering turn 3, and it started to slip even moe, and would not go come out of forth until the motor was off. Now it barely moves, and only moves in 2nd and higher gears, but barely. No reverse, as it slips to much. (But the thing is, it's a brand new clutch, so I can't figure out why it went already.....) But I still finished, so I'm happy!!!!

I think I have a problem with my master cylinder, as the brakes always felt VERY soft, and the pads and rotors are still like new. I checked the master, and it's missing a small amount (Not much, but some), and I'm thinking the vacuum is messed up and is sucking my brake fluid up whenever I brake, and draining most back into the master when I take my foot off the brake. But idk for sure. It would sort of make sense, as my engine puffed smoke every so often when I braked hard, but never at any other time. What do you guys think?

I'll post pics tommorow. I'm to tired to do it now.....

Don't feel so bad about smoking $300 worth of tires. Gravel tires are around $200 each and punctures are pretty common in rallies.
              Loose nut behind the wheel...

Lol, to be honest, I don't have a single scratch from the race itself!!!! I only have a few from pushing my grandpa's egt (#46) back his pit stall when his alternator and battery went dead. No other contact with cars.

And yunvmyegt, there were a few egts. I don't know where they finished. They only announced the top 10 in each class that day, and haven't posted the rest of the results online yet. I do know that I was the top finishing BG.

Thanks! And it did, lol! I still can't figure out how it held together! It has over 190K miles, yet it still was able to run that fast for that long.
