    Tachometer is acting weird.

The tachometer is acting unusual, when throttling it jumps up & down @ time periodically & when driving the needle is stuttering when climbing the rev band. Here is a vid of how it acts when throttling. During recording it only acted up once, but usually it does it repeatedly for like 2 - 3 sec. What is the cause of this & how can i fix it?

How many grounding points am i looking for? I am aware of only 3 in the engine bay @ the moment. Gearbox, engine head & battery

2 grounding points on the front frame rails...1 on each side right behind the radiator support under the headlights.and another on the frame rail under battery.

Also make sure the distributor harness plug is clean.

I check the grounding points everything is ok in that department. Just need a contact spray to spray into the distributor harness plug to make it is clean.

Recheck your connections and inspect the plugs

digital ones are know for failure with their age, analog ones also but not as common. To anyone whos seen the backside of a BF cluster will know it looks like a giant super complicated circut board and the little thingys and pieces fail over time. i have 2 digital clusters that the tach "wobbles"

remember the BF elctronic dash cluster was designed at the same time as....

Unused diagnostic plug near the coil will work...white plug.
