If anyone has some clear corners that they don't want anyomore, or if we can somehow get another groupbuy going (Wil, is there any chance your contact would be willing to make more????) I would absolutely be extremely interested.

I need them terribly. Once I have some clear corners, I'll be finished with the exterior of my car. I've decided.

CRX corners will fit, however they will leave a gap at the bottom of the lense on the fender section. Also, I belive the screw holes don't line up so you'll have to drill to mount. Then there is the fact that CRX's use 2 bulbs in the corner lamp instead of 1 like Proteges. So in conclusion, it can be done, but it's alot of custom work.

it costs in excess of $15K to set up a mold for the complete lens. So, your still gonna have to find a shop to hand make each one and supply them with your current or spare set of corners........of which a large quantity of orders is not on the menu.

meh, when the guy ended up having to raffle 3 or 4 extra sets on ebay because out of the original 15, only 10 or so went through with the group buy.. they've always been a major disaster on these protege boards. thats why, bill first, then build seems to be the way to do everything now adays. honestly, just deal without clears.. the car ain't worth over 2k anyway.. there is no 'plastics expert' on board here that would be able to take on this task.. so your best bet is to just pick up a phone book and start calling up speed shops in your area.. after a while, you MAY just find somebody willing to undertake such a task, however, the demand on this board.. i'd say only 10 people would actually come up with the funds for it anyway. not worth anyone's bother IMHO.

you're definetly creative enough to do a little body work to fit in a set of clear corners of your choice. Escort, CRX, BMW. By even adding a filler peice to make up the difference (since your already all painted) I'm sure you can come up with some kinda of custom solution. and since you've gone that far already, i'd suggest that over the J-spec/E-spec lights, why stop now eh

not to get anyones hope up, but ive found a guy that works with plastic. he said hes willing to try to mold some clear lenses for the outside for me. i already have a set from the last group buy, but i want another set just incase. if he can do it, and i like them, then we can get the ball rolling. the ONLY drawback: YOU MUST COME UP WITH THE MONEY FIRST!!! i say this because i do NOT want this to end up like the last group buy, where in the end, 75% of the people wanting them backed the **** out. anyways, just thought i would share my opportunity with you guys. :p:
