i know of a BF with EC leathers, i think he just used BF rails on them.

went over this a few months ago but the drivers seat uses the same pattern for the rails so bolt your BF rails to the BG/MX3 seat and done. For the passenger seat the 4WD rails and seats are specific so you can only use 4WD parts, but the bf/bg do mix and match. If your BF is FWD then use stock rails with any BG or MX3 seat.

I believe that the Mazda Miata seats had the same bolt pattern but sit much lower

Thanks for the front seat info!

What about that rear seat (bench + back rest) -are there any inter-exchangable options or with minimal/easy modification?

Rear seats do not interchange BG-->BF its a different chassis and floorpan

Do you mean the BG 4wd and BF GT-X seats interchange??

drivers side in the 4wd is the same as the FWD, its the passenger seat thats different. because of the driveshaft in the center of the car the exhaust is offset right under where the passenger seat mounts and there is a lump in the floorpan that changes who the seat mounts. Ive never tried to interchange BF4wd-->BG4wd but i do own one of each and ive swaped seats in both and found the same thing so im willing to bet that they used the same offset in the passenger seat

If you ever try it, please post the results.

Would be very good if it worked....

I'd like to get something better than these DX seats in my 4wd BG.

Does this apply for the back rest as well?
