    Steel braided lines for bf?

I have searched and haven't found the answer to my question so here's my delema. I just recently picked up some 22v calipers off of a bg pro (not sure what year but def in between 90-94) for my 89 Bf sedan (sohc) and I saw that my brake line had a nice crack in it. So i decided maybe its a good time to upgrade to some steel braided lines before these ones crap out on me. So my question is can I use the ones for the 90-94 pro and make them work some how? If not what makes them unusable? Can i use 323 gt ones or gtx ones and will i even be able to find those? The only ones i know of right now are the BFgoodridge and the ones from Cork Sport and there all for the bg. (wish they hadn't discontinued bf stuff!!) I just want to make sure all is good before I drop 100 bucks on some brake lines.

Any light on this would be greatly apreciated. Thanks!

Give them a call, they might still have some on the shelf. They didn't throw out their inventory, they just decided to stop making more product for the aging line.

if the only difference is the flare then you can just reflare the end to work with the braided line

Oh are the capri xr2's the same? If so than I could just use those ones from zxtuner.com. That would be the best!

brake lines are for the most part 3/16 reflaring is easy if you have the right tool. just have to know if its a double flare or a bubble flare. its been awhile so i cant tell you for sure

I've done the upgrade on my Capri XR2 and I noticed the locating tang on the banjo fitting does not fit correctly in the hole anymore, it's in a different spot on the Escort calipers (stock lines). The braided lines do not have any tabs or locators on them.
