    My new whip.. :)

I bought it friday night with a few bugs to work out, including a pretty bad missfire/stumble... Saterday I fixed it... Sunday I raced it..

Well here is the new beast.. Its a 92 323 built by a friend of mine.. With a very fun little KLDE swap...

Some racing pictures from Sundays fun..

My gf show casing the car..

No she's not just a pretty model, she loves getting behind the wheel.

After her run heat she left the cooling fan running and killed the battery for me..

My parents showed up to watch for a little while and I managed to talked my mom into going for a ride along with me..

Now thats getting close to the cones..

To bad its a little to close..

Not my fastest time of the day, but one of few clean runs...

Hey there ... where was the slalom time trail ? Is it in Pitt meadows still ? I want to bring my 323 out there to run around the cones too !!! I can probably get my cousin to run his GT-R that he just brought in from Japan too.

Thanks guys... tomorrow I am switching out the 323 manual steering rack for the mx3 power steering rack.. I also need to roll the rear fender lip a little more.. I was getting some rubbing while racing.....

Once I get my GTX back together I'll probably be putting it up for sale...

                  WOW! Looks like fun!

You have to be one of the few 323's that have a klde AND both A-pillars! That's a winner!

No pictures but I got some more work done on the car tonight.. I swapped out the mazda 323 non power steering rack, for a depowerd mx3 steering rack... I also managed to move around the exhaust a bit to get rid of most of my rattles...

For anyone who wants to know the 323 non power rack is 4 and a bit turns lock to lock... the mx3 power steering rack is 3 and a bit turns lock to lock...

That is good info on the rack . I was thinking of depowering my rack on the 323 . But if the MX-3 is less lock to lock I should get me one and swap it out .

The 323 power rack might be the same as the MX-3 power rack... You'd have to check it to be sure.. the 323 rack I had in my car was a manual rack.. it wasn't depowered...
