Megasquirt Tables - How do they look?

I'm going to wire up my MS this weekend and I was hoping you guys could look over my tables and tell me if they are ok to start tuning on.

    Thanks!!

the spark table could be more aggressive, but the fuel could be a slight bit richer, till you actually dyno tune it.... otherwise just go drive around with tunerstudio running ve.a.l. and let it self adjust....

ok actually while im thinking about it, is this boosted or not, cause if its na im way off.... honestly go on miataturbo.net, im not trying to swerve people over there, but theres alot more ms info there, and way way more people using it, or atleast ones that can help more....

      Ya, its boosted.

Have you used the VE Analyzer? If so, how well does it work?

ive used it since i went ms a few months ago, at first i drove on it for about a week, just to try and hit all the cells i could. now i just use it here and there when it seems to be acting different. i used mt for a few days, and i just liked the look of ts way better so i never looked back, and it seems easier to work with. the only thing i can compare the 2 too, is dos and windows i guess...lol... what turbo are you running? what motor?

Its a built BP running a t3/t4 60-1. I bought the car from a guy who bought it from a member on here. His build thread is here http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40013

Guy did some top notch work. I have gotten alot done more done with it than whats in that thread. I need to make a build thread so can outline what i've done with it.

It's very difficult to determine how the tables look simply based on the tables themselves.

The VE table can result in very different AFR readings based on your actual motor VE, injectors you use, REQ_Fuel, as well as any other trims.

The spark timing you should again base it on your fuel quality, intake temperatures, and your particular motor's tolerance to knock. It has to be dyno tuned or tuned via a well calibrated knock sensor.

As for the AFR targets, not bad, the 15.6 target is not emissions compliant if that concerns you. Also, I would target 11.5-12 AFR above 200 Kpa but this once again depends on your particular setup.

Hey Lex, thanks for the input.

I actually got the ve table from one of your posts and the spark is from one of therieldeal's.

They should be good enough to start with..........I hope, lol.

They should be ok as a starting point and what I am stressing is that every setup is different and requires at least some tweaks to the tune so keep an eye on gauges and start slowly building boost.

Totally understand what your saying. These will be just to get it running, then i'll street tune it that way I can break the motor in. After its broke in, i'm goin to the dyno to tune for power.

While i have your attention Lex, I got a question about the launch control circuit.

In this diagram, the "5V from TPS +5V" means the variable 0 to 5v signal from the tps (which I took from pin 23 on the DB37), correct?

No that means the constant 5v reference signal that the ecu sends TO the tps, not the variable signal it gets back.

Oh, good thing I asked, lol.

So....really, all I need to do is supply +5v.

Can I just pull that from the +5V source that is meant for the proto area?

Or does it NEED to come from the output to tps? Which is pin 26, correct?

not sure what pin it is, but you should be able to pull it from either spot IIRC. Lex could answer you better, i don't mess around in there myself .

That would make it easier if I could pull the 5v from the proto source though.

Can you confirm or deny that lex?
