    91 EGT - Super Sleeper

As some of you know, I bought a project off of a member here and I am picking up where he left off.

Here is his old build thread http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40013

I finally got to work on it last weekend. I started out by putting the axles back in and turning the front rotors. I also made the rear motor mount solid so now it has a solid front and rear.

I then got to work making an oil seperator/catch can. Here is a drawing I did in Pro-e of how it works.

The area between the two drilled plates is filled with the copper colored scrubbers and a piece of scotch brite sits on top under the top drilled plate. It should do a pretty good job of stripping the oil out of the air. Then there is petcock on the bottom to drain the oil.

Here are some pics of it completed. I forgot to take some while I was building it.

I also ran the AN lines to it and made the wastegate dump tube. Forgot to snap some of the dump.

Also made an overflow can out of a leftover piece of charge pipe. you can see it in one of the pics.

Some randoms of the engine bay.

Hopefully I can get the megasquirt wired in this weekend and see if she runs

Hopefully I can pull it all together, lol. I'm pumped though.

The engine has B6t rods, weisco forged pistons and gtx cams

              Looks great!

Can I make one suggestion: Be careful with the clear braided plastic tubing. It collapses under vacuum and does not take too well to oil. I see it on your brake booster so I wanted to throw this out there for safety. Also make sure you have the check valve on the brake booster line.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't sure if it would work or not. I'll have to find something different.

                              It Runs!!

                              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L03gYEXzzmM

youtube ruined the vid, but you get the point.

Engine has great oil pressure and sounds tight. Have an oil leak I gotta fix before I start tuning. I hope its the pan seal and not the rear main. That would suck!!
